Egyptian Market Place Series
The following are a series of photos that I took in Egypt when I was there in 1998. When I took this series, I was torn, because clearly, these women did not want to me photograph them and I don’t usually take pictures of people without their consent. However, after watching them for some time, I decided that it was more important to tell their stories.
