Landscape

A cloudless,
Pastel sky
Hovers

Sleepy
Matron

A black crow
Pecks at the
Stony ground
And one lonely,
Decrepit tree
Cracks the
Silence
And falters,
As the waterless,
Rock-ridden
Earth
Reclaims
A timeworn
Cradle
