I have long been fascinated by the prospect of photography reaching the level of painting. Many of my more abstract photographs have had this in mind when I’ve made them. However, what I did here, was take an actual acrylic painting that I made, and photograph it, and see how it stands up as a photograph.
I must admit that I like the way it turned out. This was originally blue and white. But I converted it to black and white. It works much better this way, I think.
