i love this "water under the bridge" shot. i agree that architecture is a great subject and i'm always happy when there are no people in shots wsuch as this. besides, there are people "in it." there's the unseen architect and there's the (third) eye of the photograher , revealing what he (r she) wishes the viewer to see. then, there's the viewer, who gets to interpret the shot in his (or her) own way. on another level, there are no people in these shots, for me, because, people are not really the source of what we're seeing, any mor e then people ar the "center of the universe." the idea that man IS the center is the cause of most of the world's problems, depleting nature, disregrading her warnings, factions whcih fight with eachother, etc.
